Quickstart

Install, seed, and run the starter locally.

Use Vite+ for the managed Node runtime and pinned pnpm. A Cloudflare account is needed for deployment only.

Install and run

vp install
cp .env.example .env
pnpm run db:migrate:local
pnpm run db:seed
pnpm run dev

The development command runs the web app on port 3071, the REST/MCP API on 8787, and the background Worker on 8788. They share persisted local D1. To run one app, use pnpm -C apps/web dev, pnpm -C apps/api dev, or pnpm -C apps/background dev.

Sign in

Open http://localhost:3071/sign-in. Seeding creates these credential accounts:

The sign-in form also offers magic links and six-digit emailed codes. Both expire after ten minutes. Codes allow three failed attempts. Without an email provider, local delivery appears in the dev server's email.dispatched log.
